José Martins da Costa, 34 years old, the head of Alas community Health Centre, residing at Alas Administrative Post, Manufahi Municipality. Joao further expressed that so far community utilized the facility after the facilities were handed over to Health Facilities and hope that we can make assessment in the coming months on any feedback that community may have later. Asking about any change benefitted from this collaboration, Joao affirmed that there is a significant change this year in these health care facilities as we have put in action the so called inclusivity in our services in the facilities, there is no discrimination to people with disability to access toilets in the HCF, and by having these accessibilities, our community can imitate the same type of accessibility for their relatives who might be in disability condition. Mr. Joao further affirmed that his part will be responsible for any minor maintenance issues as per his ministry’s capacity to maintain the sustainability of the facilities in each Health Posts and will collaborate with government and relevant ministries for the major rehabilitation issues. With regards to the recent Health Care Facility assessment conducted by WaterAid team for further facility improvement at Health Facilities, Joao was hopeful that there will be some considerations from relevant ministries and WaterAid team for future program implementation in other health posts to benefit the community in other remote areas of Manufahi municipality.
